Join us for Waves, all that Glows Sees, a magical, mesmerizing, theatrical sea story with live music. To begin, you follow a little pathway of shells and stones that lead you into a big tent. You can hear someone playing the harmonica. A tall man is dreaming of the sea. He makes sand appear, then turtles, seagulls and fish, and then dune grass, the sky, boats and time that passes. The man doesn’t know how to wait... He becomes a treasure that waits. Another sailor makes music and lets his voice float out over the ocean. Students will be enchanted by this charming “postcard from an imagined beach” with music, poetry, and silence.
Format: ~45 minute presentation at Flushing Town Hall's theater.
Grade Levels: Recommended for grades Pre-K to 1.
Tickets: ALL tickets are $10 per person.
